Mahweet: The Women's Committee in the city of Mahweet organized a vigil on Wednesday marking the second anniversary of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation, reaffirming Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants at the vigil raised banners and chanted slogans expressing Islamic unity around the Palestinian cause while condemning the actions of the Israeli occupation against civilians in Gaza. The participants renewed their commitment to the path of resistance and liberation until all Palestinian land is freed.
Speakers at the event described the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation as a pivotal moment in the conflict with the Zionist entity. They emphasized how the operation exposed the betrayal of normalization and shifted the region's focus back to issues of dignity and justice.
The speakers further highlighted that Yemeni women stand in solidarity with Palestine, despite the ongoing aggression and blockade faced by Yemen. They reiterated that the Palestinian cause remains the central issue for the Muslim nation.
