Taiz: The Women's Committee in Taiz Governorate organized a commemorative event on Thursday to mark the annual anniversary of the Quran martyr, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, under the slogan: 'Martyr of the Just Cause and the Quranic Project.'
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, speeches highlighted the role of the martyred leader in reviving the nation's faith identity, correcting misconceptions, and linking everyday reality with the authentic Quranic approach. This, in turn, was aimed at strengthening values of dignity, honor, and independence.
Speakers emphasized that the martyred leader, through his Quranic project, presented a comprehensive vision to confront the forces of arrogance and domination. He was portrayed as a unique model of patience, steadfastness, and sacrifice for the nation's just causes, especially in supporting the oppressed and defending the sanctities.
The speeches also addressed the importance of deriving lessons from the martyred leader's life and translating his principles into practical actions across various aspects of life, particularly in educational and cultural fields, to safeguard society from intellectual and cultural misguidance.
They further highlighted the pivotal role of women in shaping a conscious generation committed to its religious and human values. There was a renewed pledge to follow the path of the martyred leader, uphold the Holy Quran as a guiding principle for life, and act responsibly in confronting current challenges.
