Al-durayhimi: A large women's event was held on Monday in Al-Durayhimi District, Hodeidah Governorate, to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. According to Yemen News Agency, the event highlighted the Prophet's life and the hardships and challenges he faced in conveying the message of Islam, as well as the Yemenis' role in supporting him, defending the faith, and confronting its enemies. Speakers stressed the importance of commemorating the occasion and following the example of the Prophet, drawing lessons from his values, principles, and morals in confronting tyranny.
They described the Prophet's birthday anniversary as an opportunity to strengthen the Yemeni people's connection with the Prophet and renew their commitment to following his path, while linking the occasion to the nation's current challenges, particularly supporting the Palestinians in Gaza and confronting the Israeli occupation.
The speakers also emphasized the importance of learning about the Prophet's life and drawing lessons from it, while strengthening faith-based identity in confronting alien cultures and destructive ideas. They noted that celebrating the birth of the Prophet, the Master of Humanity, represents an important educational and spiritual occasion that reflects adherence to the divine message, the Muhammadan path, and the guidance of the Prophet's household and righteous leaders.
The event featured religious chants, poems, and other performances expressing joy over the anniversary of the Prophet's birth.
