Sana'a: Cultural and rhetorical events for women were held on Saturday in Ibb Governorate to mark the annual anniversary of the Qur'an Martyr, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events were organized by Noor al-Huda Secondary School for Sharia Sciences in cooperation with the General Women's Cultural Authority under the slogan 'Martyr of the Qur'anic Project. Martyr of the Just Cause'. The program included a presentation by Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, the governorate's public mobilization official, who discussed the practical steps in establishing the Qur'anic Movement under the leadership of the founding martyr, Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He highlighted the martyr's leadership during a critical period and the importance of preserving the Qur'anic project.
Muhammad al-Ghazali, the governorate's education sector official, described the anniversary as a chance to learn from the Qur'an Martyr's life. He noted Yemen's supportive stances and educational stability as outcomes of the martyr's educational project. The event also celebrated the first graduating class of Noor al-Huda Secondary School for Sharia Sciences.
The General Women's Cultural Authority organized a central event at Imam Ali School, with speeches on the martyr's early life, the Qur'anic Movement's establishment, and its significance. The program featured choral and folkloric performances.
In Al-Qafr District, a rhetorical event highlighted the country's achievements, particularly in military manufacturing, as fruits of the Qur'an Martyr's initiatives. The speeches stressed that global conspiracies against the Qur'anic Movement have failed, as it is both a national and global initiative.
