Sanaa: The Women's Sector at Yemen's Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor held a cultural event titled "Our Battlefield is One, and Our Enemy is One" to mark Ashura and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid. Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister for the Labor Sector Rimah Hiba described Ashura as an important religious and cultural occasion that inspires the values of sacrifice, patience, steadfastness embodied by Imam Hussein and Imam Zaid in confronting oppression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the occasion strengthens awareness and a sense of responsibility in facing challenges, urging people to follow the principles associated with Karbala and translate them into practical commitment to justice and duty. Hiba noted that the Yemeni people's commemoration reflects their loyalty to the family of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Hiba also stressed the importance of drawing lessons from the occasion to reinforce resilience and steadfastness and called for applying the principles of Imam Hussein's and Imam Zaid's revolutions in nation-building and serving society.
