Workshop for Training Agricultural Coordinators Conducted in Beit al-Faqi District

Beit Al-Faqih: Beit Al-Faqih Agricultural Cooperative Multipurpose Association in Hodeida Province organized a training workshop and an expanded meeting for delegates and coordinators of centers and districts in the directorate. The focus of the workshop was on agricultural and developmental aspects, particularly on implementing an agricultural and developmental survey involving farmers and livestock breeders.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop aimed to familiarize 30 delegates representing various centers and isolated areas of the directorate with the tasks and work manual of the coordinators. The primary focus was on implementing an agricultural and developmental survey, which includes counting the number of cows, sheep, and poultry, as well as gathering information from farmers and livestock breeders.

The discussions during the workshop also covered the identification of veterinary cadres, animal health workers, engineers, and guides. The goal is to train these individuals and involve them in agricultural and development work. Additionally, the workshop explored mechanisms for organizing marketing, agricultural markets, and emphasized the importance of spreading community awareness about agriculture and development.

Hussein Sahl, the director of the directorate, stated that the workshop is part of the implementation of leadership and government directives within the supplementary local development program for the year 1446 AH. This initiative is carried out in cooperation with government agencies and the local community.
