Ibb: An expanded meeting of residents of Yareem District in Ibb Governorate, chaired by Governor Abdulwahid Salah, discussed preparations for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, focusing on efforts to unify official and community initiatives to address current challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed preparations for the occasion and coordination mechanisms among various groups to ensure the success of the events. Governor Salah emphasized the role of sheikhs, dignitaries, and community figures in strengthening unity and solidarity and called for greater coordination between local authorities and the community.
He also urged residents to increase their readiness and preparations for the events, while warning against hostile calls and schemes. He affirmed that those returning from the ranks of the opposing side through coordination with the relevant authorities would be welcomed and provided security.
Public Mobilization official Abdul Fattah Ghallab stressed the importance of early and organized preparations, along with unified official and community efforts to ensure broad public participation.
Participants, including local officials, security and military leaders, sheikhs, and social figures, stressed the need to complete preparations for the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal. They described it as an opportunity to promote social solidarity and draw inspiration from the Prophet's life in fostering responsibility and teamwork.
