Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicts clear and cold weather across Yemen in the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the forecast for the highlands suggests clear and relatively cold to cold conditions during the night and early morning in parts of Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Amran, Sana’a, and Sa’ada governorates. Low cumulus clouds may form in the afternoon over the western and southwestern mountainous areas.
In the western coasts, skies are expected to be clear to partly cloudy with low cloud formation over inland areas. Active winds are anticipated in the southern western coast and Bab al-Mandab, reaching speeds of up to 22 knots, which could affect sea conditions.
Desert areas will experience relatively clear and dusty weather during the day, with southerly winds reaching up to 18 knots, causing dust and sand to stir. The center has issued warnings advising citizens in the highlands to prepare for cold weather. Sea-goers and fishermen in the southern western coast and Bab al-Mandab are cautioned about rough seas and high waves.
