Sana'a:The National Commission for Human Rights has criticized a propaganda campaign by Saudi Arabia, alleging that Yemen is targeting the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Commission stated that Yemen is known for defending Islamic sanctities and supporting Palestine, standing firm with its leadership, people, and armed forces. The statement accused Saudi Arabia of complicity with Zionist actions against Gaza, contrasting Yemen's support for Palestine with Saudi activities.
The Commission condemned the Saudi regime for moral and legal complicity, citing past atrocities such as the Tanuma massacre, where Yemeni pilgrims were killed. It argued that Saudi Arabia has targeted Yemeni Muslims, while Yemen remains a guardian of faith and holy sites.
The statement suggested that Saudi Arabia's claims against Yemen are a desperate attempt to distract from its own failures and alleged ties with Zionist interests. It emphasized that Yemen would never target Mecca or Medina, reinforcing its commitment to Islamic solidarity and the Palestinian cause.
