Sana'a: The Government of Change and Construction is emphasizing enhanced coordination and cooperation between ministries to consolidate government institutional work in line with its broader program to establish a modern state founded on institutional principles. This initiative aims to implement a qualitative organizational transformation to build sound, clear, and rational institutions.
According to Yemen News Agency, a series of coordination meetings were held to strengthen cooperation between relevant agencies, monitor plan and project implementation, and exchange views on challenges and opportunities. These meetings led to important recommendations to enhance institutional integration and support efforts to achieve strategic objectives efficiently and effectively. Government officials conducted field visits to assess the performance of state institutions, identify challenges and needs in the governorates, and oversee economic, development, and service projects.
On the international front, the Government of Change and Construction, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, continues its regional and international engagement regarding the aggression and blockade, as well as the Zionist aggression against Yemen. This engagement focuses on strengthening relations with Arab and Islamic countries, enhancing Yemen's diplomatic presence, and coordinating with the United Nations and other international organizations. It also includes monitoring the situation of refugees from the Horn of Africa and overseeing measures to curb illegal immigration into Yemen.
The government is also focused on activating the role of cooperatives and organizing community work, contributing to the establishment of effective development leadership. This leadership is tasked with formulating a future vision grounded in reality, responding to citizens' needs, and fostering a more aware and active society in managing resources and developing the environment. Efforts are underway to train 'development knights' and support community initiatives aimed at advancing services and development, while building partnerships between government agencies and local communities to achieve self-sufficiency.
Yemen's leadership, government, and people continue to support the Gaza Strip in confronting Zionist aggression, reaffirming their support for the Palestinian cause until the Palestinian people attain their legitimate rights. The Yemeni armed forces conducted fourteen missile and drone operations targeting sites in Lod, Jaffa, Haifa, and Ashkelon, as well as naval operations in the Red Sea. The Humanitarian Coordination Center imposed sanctions on sixty-four companies violating the naval blockade on Israel, prohibiting their fleets from crossing critical maritime areas.
On the domestic front, last week saw activities such as expanded meetings in Raymah Governorate for scholars and preachers, graduation ceremonies from 'Al-Aqsa Flood' courses at Sana'a University, and massive marches organized by universities and schools. The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research held seminars on the conflict with the Zionist enemy, while Amran Governorate's Community College hosted an exhibition in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
Yemen's Minister of Information, Hashem Sharaf al-Din, affirmed Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, underscoring the country's commitment to defending Gaza. He highlighted Yemen's rejection of the Israeli presence in Palestine and criticized deals aimed at undermining the Palestinian cause. The minister concluded by reiterating Yemen's unwavering support for Gaza until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.
