Al-Mahwit: The Yemen Gas Company recently conducted a thorough field visit to gas filling stations in the Al-Mahwit Governorate to evaluate the implementation of security, safety, and control measures in their operations. This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to ensure the safe distribution and availability of gas in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the head of the field team, Mohammed al-Madhaji, highlighted that the primary objective of the visit was to ensure that all stations comply with established safety standards and are prepared to provide adequate gas supplies, particularly with the upcoming month of Ramadan. This period typically sees a heightened demand for gas, necessitating stringent oversight to prevent shortages.
The field team also sought to verify that the gas stations adhered to technical standards, maintained approved weights, and sold gas at the official prices. Any violations discovered during the inspections would prompt appropriate actions against those responsible. Additionally, the leadership of the Yemen Gas Company emphasized the critical importance of monitoring gas distribution to guarantee that it reaches citizens efficiently and without disruption.
