Sanaa: Yemen is mourning the death of veteran journalist and researcher Abdulhalim Saif, who passed away at the age of 77. His career was marked by a deep commitment to media and historical documentation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtour, a member of the Supreme Political Council, expressed his condolences in a message to Saif's family. Dr. bin Habtour described Saif as a "pioneer of investigative work and a knight of the word," emphasizing his dedication to professional ethics and accuracy in journalism.

Abdulhalim Saif's work earned him the reputation of being a "walking encyclopedia" of Yemeni media history. His career began in Aden during the 1950s and included studies in Moscow. He contributed significantly to the Saba State for Press and Publishing and al-Thawra newspaper, where he led the Research Center.
