Sanaa: In a significant escalation, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a series of military operations targeting strategic locations in Israel, including Lod Airport in the Jaffa area, a military target in the Negev, and the port of Umm Al-Rashrash.
According to Yemen News Agency, the missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces executed a precise strike on Lod Airport with a "Zulfiqar" ballistic missile. This operation reportedly achieved its intended objectives, prompting a mass evacuation as millions sought refuge in shelters, and effectively disrupted airport operations.
In a coordinated effort, the UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted three separate operations utilizing four drones. Two drones targeted an Israeli military installation in the Negev, while the remaining two were directed at Lod Airport and the port of Umm Al-Rashrash. These operations also reportedly met their targets, according to the Yemeni Armed Forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have expressed their commitment to continue their military actions in support of the Palestinian people, emphasizing their determination to counter what they describe as genocidal acts by Israeli forces in Gaza. They have vowed to expand their operations and warned international companies against engaging with Israeli ports, stating that any ships associated with such activities could be targeted.
The Armed Forces reiterated their unwavering support for Gaza and declared that their operations would persist until the aggression ceases and the blockade is lifted, as part of their religious, moral, and humanitarian obligations.
