Sana'a: Yemeni Government Spokesman Hashem Sharaf al-Din, who serves as the Minister of Information, has reiterated Yemen's firm and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. He emphasized that Yemen's position remains steadfast both officially and popularly, and this commitment is deeply rooted within the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sharaf al-Din declared that Yemen, under its resilient people and wise leadership, will continue to stand in solidarity with Gaza and its people. He underscored that Yemen's support is not a fleeting sentiment but a committed stance shared by millions across the country. This is reflected in the material and symbolic support provided, as well as significant military operations conducted by Yemeni armed forces against Israeli forces and their American allies.
Sharaf al-Din made it clear that Yemen does not recognize the Israeli presence in Palestine or any other Arab territories, nor does it accept any so-called deals that undermine the Palestinian cause. He condemned the acts of the Israeli occupation, highlighting the genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the attacks on Muslim and Christian holy sites.
He stressed that any attempts to distort Yemen's stance or promote false narratives contrary to the national consensus will be strongly rejected. Yemen maintains its principled, faith-based, moral, and humanitarian support for Palestine.
Sharaf al-Din concluded by asserting that the Palestinian cause is sacred and unites all Yemenis. He affirmed there is no room for compromise or retreat in this matter, pledging continued support for Gaza through all legitimate means until the aggression ceases and the siege is lifted.
