Gaza: In connection with the ongoing starvation war practiced by the Zionist entity against the residents of the Gaza Strip, Yemen is proceeding to impose a new equation of deterrence and balance in the siege of the usurping entity.
According to Yemen News Agency, the confirmation by the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, that Yemen will resume its naval operations if aid is not brought into Gaza within four days indicates this. In the heart of the tragedy that is raging in Gaza, the Leader, on Friday evening, in a televised speech, issued a warning that if the Zionist entity does not open the crossings within four days and allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni armed forces will resume their naval operations against the enemy entity.
He added, “We announce to the whole world that we will give the mediators a 4-day deadline, then we will resume our naval operations against the ‘Israeli’ enemy, if it does not allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and we will meet the siege with a siege.” He also stressed that during the implementation of the recent agreement in Gaza, the Zionist entity did not fulfill its obligations, especially on the humanitarian side, pointing in this regard to Hamas’s full commitment to the agreement, stressing that the Zionist entity violated the covenant and is procrastinating in implementing the obligations.
The threat to resume military operations against the Zionist entity demonstrates Yemen’s principled positions towards what the oppressed Palestinian people are being subjected to and represents a true victory for justice. Yemen’s stance aims at lifting the tragedy and putting an end to the suffering in the Gaza Strip, reflecting a Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic position.
The speech of the leader of the revolution contained important messages, indicating that Yemen still holds many surprises, with the aim of forcing the Zionist entity to stop its aggression on Gaza and lift the siege on it. These messages signify that Yemen and its armed forces are prepared, awaiting the end of the four-day deadline to begin dismantling the Zionist siege on the Gaza Strip.
Despite 50 days passing since the announcement of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the Zionist entity continues its siege and starvation policy, exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe for 2.4 million people in the occupied territories. The Zionist entity has prevented the entry of aid and goods into the Strip for a week, leading to warnings of an unprecedented famine.
Independent UN experts in the field of human rights warned that the Zionist entity has resumed using famine as a weapon in Gaza against the Palestinians. “We are appalled by Israel’s decision to once again suspend all goods and supplies, including life-saving humanitarian aid, entering the Gaza Strip,” the experts said in a joint statement. They stressed that these actions constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and human rights, as well as war crimes and crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute.
Human Rights Watch accused Israel of starving the population of Gaza, in violation of binding orders issued by the International Court of Justice. The organization called for immediate international pressure on Israel to end its illegal blockade, restore basic services, and allow the entry of food, fuel, and medical aid.
