Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted relatively cold and cold weather conditions in several Yemeni governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center’s weather bulletin has indicated that cold weather is expected during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, southern Marib, western Al-Jawf, and the highlands of Ibb.
The forecast also suggests that relatively cold conditions will prevail in the desert areas and highlands of Al-Mahwit, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhale’e, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al-Mahrah. The center has reported the lowest temperatures recorded this morning at some meteorological monitoring stations, with Dhamar at 4.8 degrees Celsius, Amran at 5.8, Sana’a at 7.0, and Al-Bayda at 7.6 degrees Celsius.
In light of these conditions, the center has issued a warning to citizens, particularly the elderly, children, patients, and workers who are active during the night and early morning, to take necessary precautions against the cold weather.
