Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects the weather to continue to be cold and relatively cold in several governorates over the next 48 hours. The center’s weather bulletin indicates that cold weather is anticipated during the night and early morning in the governorates of Al Bayda, Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, and Saada, with minimum temperatures ranging between 5-8 degrees Celsius.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather is likely to be relatively cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale’e, Lahj, and Abyan. This also extends to parts of the deserts and highlands of Al Mahrah, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Marib, and Al Jawf, with minimum temperatures projected to range between 09-14 degrees Celsius.
The center reported that the lowest temperatures recorded at some meteorological monitoring stations this morning were: Amran at 04.6 degrees Celsius, Dhamar at 05.5, Sana’a at 07.2, and Al Bayda at 07.6 degrees Celsius. Citizens in the highlands and interior plateaus are advised to be cautious of the cold weather and potential temperature fluctuations.
