Doha: The Yemeni Parliament strongly condemned the Israeli aggression targeting the headquarters of the Palestinian negotiation delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha. In a statement issued today, the Parliament warned of the grave dangers posed by Israeli escalation to the security and stability of the region, describing the attack as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, as well as a breach of international law and the UN Charter.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Parliament denounced the continued shameful and disgraceful silence of Arab and Islamic states, stressing that the criminal Israeli entity neither respects international laws and treaties nor the rules of engagement, having crossed all red lines. It no longer even respects those regimes that rushed toward normalization, and continues to pursue its expansionist schemes.
The Parliament called on nations, parliaments, and free peoples of the world to act to stop Israeli arrogance and recklessness, which are dragging the region and the world into further destruction and chaos, posing a threat to global peace and stability.
It reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in all its factions.
The Parliament noted that the illusions of the so-called 'peace process' have collapsed-something Yemen had long warned against-adding that the recent attack in Doha proves the danger of allowing the criminal Israeli entity to persist in the region or attempting to coexist with it.
The statement further urged the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to rise in protest against the disgraceful silence, and to mobilize to pressure submissive regimes to reconsider their positions toward Israeli arrogance and aggression that spares no one. It emphasized that no reliance should be placed on the United Nations or the international community, which have repeatedly failed to safeguard regional security and global peace.
The Parliament held the United States of America and the temporary Israeli entity fully responsible for all crimes, aggressions, and violations committed by the criminal occupying regime against the peoples of Palestine and Yemen, the wider region, and the sanctities of the Ummah.
