Yemeni Scholars Association Urges Prayers for Gaza’s Relief and Victory

Sana'a: The Yemeni Scholars Association on Thursday called upon the Yemeni people and the wider Islamic Ummah to pray and supplicate to Allah tonight for relief and victory for the people of Gaza, in response to the call of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades to the nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the association issued a statement urging all individuals to turn to Allah with the supplications of the people of the frontiers, seeking victory, support, and empowerment for all mujahideen in Gaza and Yemen. They emphasized the importance of attending mosques and reviving them with prayer and supplication, asking Allah to hasten relief and victory for the people of Gaza.

The statement highlights the necessity of emulating the practices of the Prophet Muhammad during times of calamity, injustice, and oppression. It encourages the faithful to perform two humble rak'ahs at night and recite a specific supplication repeatedly, focusing on the themes of divine support and protection.

The association calls upon all people, including women who cannot attend mosques, to engage in these prayers and supplications at home. The statement further emphasizes the significance of forgiveness and repentance, suggesting that these acts can bring blessings, increase strength, and offer steadfastness.

The Yemeni Scholars Association concludes by imploring Allah to grant relief, victory, and blessings for the people of Gaza, to support the mujahideen with steadfastness and imminent victory, and to demonstrate divine might over perceived oppressors.
