Sana'a: Palestinian expert on regional affairs, Dr. Hilal Jaradat, stated on Sunday that Yemen's entry into the broader regional conflict is a culmination of the resistance that rejects American attempts to plunder the resources of the Arab and Islamic world.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Jaradat explained that the significance of Yemen's involvement in this conflict lies in establishing control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait and launching strikes against the Zionist entity. He added, "Yemen's entry into this broad conflict, led by the United States against the countries of the region, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran, at this juncture is significant because it allows control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait. This is precisely what is causing concern among Western countries, specifically, that two straits vital to the global economy are now under the control of the resistance axis."
He pointed out that the Saudi regime does not want the Bab al-Mandab Strait closed, as it seeks to transform this strait into a conduit for Western countries and the Zionist entity to deliver and transport goods, gas, and oil shipments. He emphasized that the Zionist entity's efforts to establish a foothold and base in Somalia are part of its broader strategy to control Bab al-Mandab and launch attacks against the Yemeni armed forces.
The regional affairs expert affirmed that Yemen's official declaration of entering this battle is not only to support the resistance states but also to defend the Islamic nation and to act on behalf of all Arabs whose rulers have failed Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Gaza. He considered Yemen's entry into this phase extremely significant, prompting the so-called Zionist Security Cabinet to announce its consideration of conducting airstrikes or other operations against targets in Yemen. This marks the beginning of a new confrontation that will not be easy for the Zionist entity, which is also facing attacks from Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
On Saturday morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of their first military operation, launching a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting sensitive Israeli military sites in southern occupied Palestine. In a statement, the Armed Forces explained that the operation coincided with the heroic operations being carried out by the resistance fighters in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, noting that the operation successfully achieved its objectives thanks to Allah Almighty.
The Armed Forces affirmed that their operations will continue until the declared objectives are achieved, as stated in their previous declaration regarding direct military intervention in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resistance fronts in Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine, and until the aggression against all resistance fronts ceases.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people. In response to this aggression, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against Israel and US bases in the region.
