Yemen’s Government of Change Drives Development and Solidarity Efforts Across Sectors

Sana'a: The past week witnessed intensive activity by the Government of Change, Construction, and its affiliated institutions across various sectors including service, developmental, educational, health, and sports.

According to Yemen News Agency, the activities included the launch of strategic projects in water, solar energy, education, health, roads, and agriculture, along with support for productive families. Efforts were made to improve developmental institutions' performance, enhance institutional and regulatory work, and implement end-of-term exams across all governorates. The government also focused on strengthening judicial performance, monitoring public service projects, regulating markets, and protecting the national economy.

In alignment with its general program, the government aimed to serve citizens and ensure a decent life, reflecting resilience amid economic, social, and health challenges. The week was marked by intensified activities in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance, celebrating the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. Yemen reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian resistance until victory over the Zionist occupation is achieved.

The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile with multiple warheads, targeting sites in occupied Al-Quds. The strike reportedly caused millions of Zionist settlers to seek shelter. Mobilization activities included mass rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian people, with participants raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags and affirming support for the resistance.

Cultural seminars were held in Dhamar, Hodeidah University, and Sa'dah University, addressing themes related to the Zionist occupation. Yemenis marked two years of support for Palestine with marches under the slogan 'Al-Aqsa Flood: Two Years of Jihad and Sacrifice Until Victory,' reaffirming steadfast support for Gaza.

Over the past two years, the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted 1,835 precision military operations, with significant public mobilization recorded in support of Palestinian resistance. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Yemen's support for Palestine, congratulating them on their victory in Gaza. The Ministry engaged in diplomatic activities to enhance humanitarian coordination and cooperation with international organizations.

The 'Yemen's Bounties Festival' showcased Yemeni agricultural products, while a solar energy exhibition highlighted renewable energy technologies. The Acting Prime Minister inaugurated exams for students, and the government began disbursing salaries and pensions under an exceptional mechanism.

Judicial sessions addressed significant cases like the assassination of Martyr Hassan Mohammed Zaid and the Al-Ruwaishan funeral hall airstrike. New courtrooms and digital infrastructure were inaugurated to enhance judicial efficiency. The Public Prosecution released prisoners unable to pay fines, and anti-corruption efforts focused on protecting public funds.

Economic and development projects, including water networks and solar systems, were launched with community initiative contributions. Campaigns to boycott American and Israeli products were initiated, and health events like World Rabies Day aimed at enhancing public awareness.

Support initiatives included in-kind zakat distribution and aid for people with disabilities. Educational and training programs were conducted to enhance skills in various sectors. Memorials honored ministers and martyrs, and infrastructure projects like the expansion of Sana'a University's testing center were inspected.

Consumer warnings were issued against unsafe products, and efforts to empower women economically continued. Medical camps provided surgeries and consultations in rural areas, while training programs aimed to build capacity in public service and community initiatives.

Yemen celebrated World Post Day, highlighting the role of postal services. The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports congratulated athlete Abdullah Al-Hassouli for his achievements at the West Asian Youth Championships. Honors and recognition were given to various professionals and organizations for their contributions.

The Government of Change and Development's efforts in infrastructure and institutional performance demonstrate a commitment to serving citizens and supporting the Palestinian cause, reflecting Yemen's steadfast stance.
