Sana'a: The Sana'a Unity Sports, Cultural, and Social Club in the capital secretariat organized a youth and sports stand condemning the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist and American aggression in Gaza Strip, as well as the crimes against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event, titled "With Gaza and Palestine against killers and Arrogant," saw participation from Abdullah Obeid, Director of the Secretariat's Youth and Sports Office, members of the club's board, staff, and athletes across various age groups. The participants renewed their condemnation of the US-Zionist crimes against the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples. They affirmed their absolute support and mandate for the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take appropriate measures to deter the enemy, support Gaza, and confront American aggression until victory is achieved.
Chants of steadfastness, disavowal of God's enemies, and denunciation of the Zionist-American enemy's crimes against humanity echoed during the stand, with participants raising the Yemeni and Palestinian flags. A statement issued during the event condemned the international and UN silence toward the crimes of the Zionist-American enemy against the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples, considering such silence "unacceptable complicity."
"The club's athletes believe that sports are not separate from just religious and humanitarian causes," the statement read, reiterating Yemen's full solidarity with the resisting Palestinian people. It emphasized that these crimes will only strengthen Yemen and Palestine's resolve to continue their struggle by all means.
The statement also affirmed the youth and athletes' support for the Yemeni Armed Forces, pledging financial and human resources, mobilization, and readiness to counter American escalation. It highlighted ongoing public mobilization through "Al-Aqsa Flood" training courses in support of the just Palestinian cause.
