Sana'a: The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a heartfelt memorial event at the Youth Cultural Palace in the capital Sana'a to honor the late Minister Dr. Mohammed Ali al-Muwalad, who lost his life alongside the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and other ministers during the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony featured Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser, who praised Dr. al-Muwalad's dedication and leadership. He described Dr. al-Muwalad as a humble and noble figure whose legacy continues to inspire, particularly in the realm of youth and athletics. Dr. al-Muwalad was remembered for his significant role in revitalizing youth and sports activities, even amidst the challenging circumstances facing the country.
Governor of Bayda Abdullah Idris also spoke at the event, describing the late minister as a role model in values, leadership, and jihad. He highlighted Dr. al-Muwalad's contributions to both educational and awareness efforts across the governorate. The event concluded with a tribute at the Martyrs' Garden in Al-Sabeen Square, where attendees laid wreaths on the graves of Dr. al-Muwalad and his fellow martyrs from the Government of Change.
