YRCS Provides Aid to Hodeida Families Affected by Eid Fires

Hodeida: The Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS) in Hodeida took action on Wednesday by distributing emergency food and shelter aid to 14 families displaced by fires. These fires were ignited by fireworks during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

According to Yemen News Agency, this humanitarian response is supported by both the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the fires.

The YRCS branch in Hodeida has highlighted its increased preparedness for emergency situations, ensuring that aid is delivered promptly and effectively. The organization has also called on citizens to be cautious when handling fireworks to prevent future incidents.
