12th Anniversary of September 21 Revolution Commemorated in Al-Bayda

Al-Bayda:The local authority and General Mobilization in Al-Bayda Governorate organized a speech event on Wednesday to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, themed 'Revolution of Freedom, Independence and Rejection of Guardianship.'

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Abdullah Idris emphasized what he termed as the revolution's achievements for Yemen and its people, notably ending foreign guardianship, combating corruption, and resisting external interference. Idris noted that the revolution had countered various conspiracies and thwarted schemes targeting Yemen. He also asserted that the aggression and blockade against Yemen were reactions to the revolution's success and the resultant loss of foreign interests in the country.

Idris further stated that the September 21 Revolution embodied the aspirations of Yemenis for freedom, independence, and liberation from foreign influence, while also restoring Yemen's regional role. He commended both the leadership and the Yemeni populace for their recent military successes, which included repelling Saudi forces from the western coast and liberating significant areas and islands.

Shura Council member Abdullah Al-Mudhafari highlighted advancements in military manufacturing, including drones and missile capabilities, and praised the resilience of the Yemeni armed forces and citizens. Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Saqqaf, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, described the revolution as a historic turning point that bolstered Yemen's stance on various issues, particularly its support for the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Furthermore, Al-Bayda City Education Sector official Mohammed Al-Harithi remarked that the sacrifices made by Yemenis in pursuit of the revolution's objectives would be honored in history and continue to inspire those striving for freedom and independence.
