Sana'a:A training program designed for ministry undersecretaries and heads of authorities and institutions focusing on public responsibility has concluded in Sana'a. Organized by the National Institute of Administrative Sciences and supervised by the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development, the program marked its conclusion on Wednesday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the program involved 40 administrative leaders from 24 government entities, who participated in theoretical and practical lectures across six training modules. These modules covered topics such as the concepts, principles, values, and importance of public responsibility; determinants of success in public responsibility; foundations of relationships with staff; oversight responsibilities; integrity and anti-corruption; and factors facilitating the fulfillment of responsibilities.
The program aimed to provide participants with essential knowledge about public responsibility, emphasizing trustworthiness and integrity, fostering confidence in decision-making, and adopting the ethics of leadership humility. Public responsibility was recognized as a fundamental pillar crucial for achieving the state's major goals.
During the closing ceremony, Minister of Civil Service Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali emphasized the program's importance, noting its alignment with the 12th-anniversary celebrations of the September 21 Revolution. This initiative is part of a series of training programs designed to qualify state leaders, aiming to enhance practical skills, boost performance efficiency, and bring a qualitative shift in the administrative and service work system.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Qatabri, Dean of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences, praised the commitment and engagement shown by the participating leaders. He highlighted the program's focus on public accountability and its impact on improving institutional performance, fostering trust, and delivering high-quality services to citizens.
Participants expressed their gratitude for the training program, acknowledging the skills and knowledge gained on public accountability principles and values. They committed to applying these principles to enhance professional conduct and improve the quality of work across state institutions.
