Hajjah:The Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control carried out field inspections at cement, automatic block, water, and ice-mold factories in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the objective of these inspections was to ensure that the factories comply with approved requirements and standard specifications. The technical team focused on reviewing production processes, inspecting measuring instruments and equipment, as well as evaluating the raw materials used in manufacturing. They also assessed the production and treatment stages and quality control procedures.
The inspections included collecting product samples from the end of production lines, which will be sent to specialized laboratories for tests and analyses to confirm their adherence to the Yemeni standard specifications. The organization emphasized that these inspections are part of the ongoing technical monitoring activities by its Hajjah branch to ensure industrial facilities meet the required standards, enhance product quality, and safeguard consumer health and safety. Necessary measures will be implemented based on the test results, in line with applicable laws and regulations.
