21st September University Commemorates Scream Against Arrogance Anniversary

Sana'a: In a ceremony celebrating the annual "Scream / al-Sarkha Against the Arrogant," 21st September University in Sana'a province highlighted on Wednesday the significance of the slogan in uniting Yemenis against foreign domination and fostering national and religious identity.

According to Yemen News Agency, 21st September University for Medical and Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the University Students Forum, organized a speech event marking the anniversary of the "Scream Against the Arrogant." The event was attended by the university's Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Jamil Majali, and the university's Secretary-General, Abdulkarim al-Akhali.

Cultural activist Dr. Youssef al-Hadhari discussed the origins of the slogan and its transformation into a symbol of resistance against American and Israeli arrogance. He emphasized the slogan's impact on raising public awareness and promoting the boycott of U.S. and Israeli products, stating that it represents a weapon and stance, not just a political slogan. Dr. Al-Hadhari noted the slogan's power in fortifying the community, breaking the chains of fear, and restoring a sense of dignity.

The university's cultural advisor, Dr. Ibrahim al-Hamdi, also highlighted the importance of the slogan as a reminder of Yemen's unwavering stance against oppression and foreign interference. He called for continued efforts by educational institutions to instill national pride and awareness in students, ensuring that future generations remain connected to the broader issues facing the Arab and Islamic world.
