Sana'a: The activities of the 4th International Conference, "Palestine: The Nation's Central Cause," commenced on Saturday in the capital Sana'a, under the slogan "You Are Not Alone," featuring a broad attendance of scholars, academics, and cultural figures. The four-day event will see participation from 56 political and legal figures and activists from various countries and free peoples of the world.

According to Yemen News Agency, the conference will discuss 373 research papers and working documents presented by 355 researchers from 13 countries, categorized into ten thematic pillars. These pillars include topics such as the Quranic vision for the conflict with the Zionist enemy, the origins of global Zionism, Zionist expansionist ambitions, and the risks of normalization, among others.

During the opening ceremony, attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem al-Duais, a speech was delivered on behalf of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, Member of the Supreme Political Council and General Supervisor of the Conference, by the President of the University of Science and Technology, Dr. al-Qasim Abbas. He emphasized that Palestine is a significant political, humanitarian, moral, and religious issue, chosen by Allah as a land for messengers, revelations, and prophets.

The conference also underscored strategic achievements and the victories achieved by the Axis of Resistance. Dr. bin Habtoor paid tribute to the martyrs of the cause, including notable Palestinian and Yemeni leaders, as well as Iranian martyrs who fell during the 12-day US-Israeli aggression on Iran.

Dr. Ahmed al-Arami, Vice Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, explained that the series of conferences initiated four years ago established a knowledge base that anticipated the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. He noted the significance of the third edition, named by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, to align with Yemen's role in supporting Gaza.

Moaz Abu Shamala, the Hamas representative in Sana'a, described the Al-Aqsa Flood as a pivotal leap that shattered the myths of the occupation and its security theories. He highlighted Gaza's resilience amidst relentless bombing and genocide and praised Yemen's stance, particularly the naval blockade on the Zionist enemy, as a model for the Islamic Ummah.

The opening session concluded with recorded messages from international activists and legal experts commending Yemen's role in standing against global arrogance and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people amidst international silence.
