900 Students Qualify for Final Round of Curriculum Competitions for Martyrs’ Children in Capital Sana’a

Sana'a: A total of 900 students from schools across the Capital Sana'a qualified on Tuesday for the final stage of the scientific and cultural curriculum competitions for the children of martyrs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the competitions are organized by the Education Sector and educational districts in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families. These events are part of the educational care project for martyrs' children.

Abdulqader al-Mahdi, head of the education sector, explained that the contests have produced significant results in raising the academic level of participants from grade six up to the second year of secondary school. He emphasized that the goal is to encourage martyrs' children to pursue education diligently in recognition of the sacrifices of their fathers, who gave their lives for God and in defense of the homeland.

He noted that the finalists include 14 boys' teams and 12 girls' teams, totaling 900 students from schools across the capital.

Hussein al-Sheikh, director of educational care at the Authority, said the competitions help evaluate the academic and cultural levels of the students, identifying strengths and weaknesses. He added that the initiative motivates students to study harder and persevere in their learning, praising the Education Sector's efforts in organizing the contests and encouraging participation.
