Abu Abdil Wins, Red Crescent & Gaza Draw in Martyrs on the Road to Quds Football Tournament

Hajjah: The Martyr Abu Abdil team swept aside its counterpart Al-Tahaddi with seven clean goals in the first group of the second round competitions of the Martyrs on the Road to Quds football tournament in Hajjah.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the second group of the tournament, organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, the match between Red Crescent and Gaza ended in a positive 1-1 draw.

In the first group match, officiated this morning by referee Akram Hamid with the assistance of Abdullah Al-Shatir, Muin Bakhit, and fourth official Khaled Al-Shaghdari, player Musfar Ruzaiq scored a super hat-trick for the Martyr Abu Abdil team, raising his tally to eight goals and topping the scorers' list, while the remaining goals were distributed among players Mohammed Al-Hamdani, Bassam Qadesh, and Asim Al-Turabi.

In the second match this afternoon, Gaza goalkeeper Mohammed Makki scored an own goal before his teammate Salah Saeed equalized, ending the match, officiated by referee Akram Hamid with the assistance of Mustafa Al-Ghalabi, Nabil Al-Baqa', and fourth official Khaled Al-Shaghdari, in a positive draw.

Shabab Tihama will face the Martyr Abu Abdil team in the first group tomorrow, Sunday, while the Martyr Mohammed Salbah team and Red Crescent will meet in the second group on Monday.
