Sana'a: The capital Sana'a and various Yemeni provinces witnessed massive million-strong rallies on Friday afternoon to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, known as the 'Day of Al-Furqan,' and to declare solidarity with the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon against what participants described as the treacherous US-Zionist aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni crowds participating in the rallies, held under the slogan 'With Iran and Lebanon, We Commemorate the Day of Al-Furqan,' affirmed their commitment to carrying the banner of Islam and jihad in confronting what they described as the tyrants of the modern age-American and Israeli Zionists-and following the path of their ancestors, the supporters of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), in confronting the tyrants of their time.
Participants chanted slogans expressing disavowal of enemies, including: 'On the anniversary of the Day of Al-Furqan. we will counter the schemes of tyranny,' 'The anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr. we prepare for the next round,' 'With Iran and Lebanon. we proclaim it the Day of Al-Furqan,' 'Yemen of wisdom and faith. with Iran. with Lebanon,' and 'By Allah, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. America's alliance is defeated.'
They also chanted: 'With Islamic Iran. against the Zionist war,' 'The Muslim Iranian people. a people of jihad who will not surrender,' 'Khamenei, the martyr of Islam. his blood will end the forces of crime,' 'Iran, Allah is its protector. we will avenge its Supreme Leader,' 'The Revolutionary Guard, by Allah. will show no mercy to the enemies of God,' 'Strike them, O Hezbollah. victory is your ally by Allah,' 'Yemen of dignity is ready. our hands are on the trigger,' and 'Gaza, we are still with you. we will remain even if they return.'
In the capital Sana'a, Al-Sabeen Square witnessed a massive human gathering affirming Yemen's full support for the Iranian Muslim people and the continued stance supporting the Palestinian, Lebanese peoples, and all the free and oppressed people of the nation.
The crowds, raising Yemeni, Palestinian, and Iranian flags, declared their full support and authorization to the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take decisions and choose confrontation options against what they described as the tyrants of the modern age, Americans and Israelis, and to continue what they called the 'sacred battle' until victory is achieved.
They expressed pride in what they described as the heroism of the Iranian army, its Revolutionary Guard, Hezbollah, and the strikes carried out against the Zionist entity and American bases in the region, as well as the operations of the Iraqi resistance.
Participants also sent a message to what they called the forces of tyranny and disbelief-'the Jews, Zionists, Americans, and their allies'-stating that the Yemeni people are fully prepared for any developments and ready to engage in what they described as the sacred battle against the enemies of Islam and Muslims until victory is achieved.
They reaffirmed Yemen's support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people, as well as continued support for the Palestinian, Lebanese peoples, and all free people of the nation based on what they described as Islamic, moral, and humanitarian duty.
Meanwhile, the Hodeidah province witnessed large demonstrations in 317 squares across the provincial center and districts condemning the US-Zionist aggression against Iran, describing it as a blatant attack and a clear violation of state sovereignty and international laws and conventions.
Residents stated that the US-Zionist escalation is part of an attempt to target the axis of resistance and the peoples of the region, emphasizing that the attack on Iran would only strengthen the determination of free peoples to confront aggression.
They described the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr as a spiritual and jihadi milestone that revives values of dignity, patience, and steadfastness, reinforcing the meanings of sacrifice and trust in Allah's promise in confronting the tyrants of the modern age.
Large rallies were also held in Saada, Sana'a province, Hajjah, Amran, Raymah, Ibb, Al-Mahwit, Marib, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and other governorates, where participants reiterated solidarity with Iran and Lebanon, support for the Palestinian cause, and readiness to confront what they described as American and Israeli aggression.
The rallies concluded with the issuance of a joint statement emphasizing commitment to the principles of Islam, support for the resistance axis, and readiness to confront any developments. The statement reaffirmed loyalty to the revolutionary leadership, support for Iran, Hezbollah, and resistance movements in the region, and called on Arab and Islamic governments to expel foreign military bases from their territories.
The statement concluded with prayers for victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq, and for relief and victory for the Palestinian people.
