Sana'a: Acting Economy Minister Sam Al-Bashiri visited several water factories in the capital Sana'a to review production operations and assess the challenges facing the sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was accompanied by Engineer Sami Maqbuli, Mohammed Qutrana, and Mohammed Salah. The delegation received briefings from factory owners on production activities and operational difficulties.
Al-Bashiri praised the compliance of water factories with manufacturing standards and their commitment to product quality. He stressed the importance of the sector in meeting local market demand.
He also commended the factories for adhering to ministry-set price ceilings. Al-Bashiri affirmed efforts to address production challenges, reduce costs, and support the development of local manufacturing industries while ensuring consumer protection.
