Sana'a: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, met today with the awareness and education team from the Higher National Authority for Combating Corruption. The meeting, attended by the Deputy Minister for the Policies, Studies, and Planning Sector, Fouad Al-Junaid, discussed strengthening partnership between the two sides in activating the hotline, raising awareness about reporting corruption crimes, and advancing the project to promote transparency in service institutions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Acting Minister affirmed the ministry's readiness to cooperate with all programs and projects of the Anti-Corruption Authority in ways that enhance financial and administrative transparency within the ministry and across its affiliated entities. The Authority's team, headed by Adel Al-Oqbi, Director of the Media, Awareness, and Community Participation Department, praised the ministry's circular announcing the toll-free hotline across the ministry and its subordinate bodies, as well as the launch of training courses related to the project for strengthening transparency and integrity in service institutions.
