Sana'a: The Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, visited the Ministry's office in the Capital Secretariat to assess the progress of work and the implementation of economic plans and programs approved by the Ministry.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Al-Bashiri, along with the Ministry Undersecretary for Business Services Sector Judge Abdul Fattah Al-Dhuwaid and the Executive Director of the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control Abdullah Al-Atfi, toured various departments and sections of the office. They received a briefing from the office director, Majid Al-Saada, regarding the work mechanism and the level of transaction completion.
Al-Bashiri stressed the necessity of simplifying procedures and accelerating the completion of transactions to enhance the quality of services offered to all industrial, commercial, and service sectors. He highlighted the importance of aligning with the Ministry's plans focused on localization projects, supporting local production, and promoting economic empowerment.
He also underscored the need for enhanced field supervision to eliminate practices that hinder the oversight process. Such improvements aim to protect the rights of both traders and consumers effectively.
