Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Muftah emphasized the state and government's commitment to caring for orphans during his visit to the Orphan House in the Capital Secretariat. He attended a luncheon organized by the Secretariat's Office of Social Affairs and Labor, celebrating the Prophet's Birthday in honor of the great martyrs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Muftah congratulated the orphaned children, referring to the Prophet as 'the Father of Orphans' and underscoring the religious significance of the occasion. He expressed gratitude to the bodies involved in organizing the celebration, including the late Minister Samir Bajala, who was a staunch supporter of orphans.
Al-Muftah also addressed the plight of Gaza, highlighting the severe challenges faced by its people, especially children, and expressed confidence in their eventual victory. He praised the director of the Orphan Care House and encouraged orphans to prioritize education for their future success.
He commended the Yemeni people's solidarity during the funeral of the Prime Minister and martyrs, and expressed hope for a historic and faith-driven celebration of the Prophet's Birthday.
Nasser Al-Kahli, Director of the Secretariat's Office of Social Affairs and Labor, emphasized the Prophet's exemplary character and called for increased charitable initiatives to foster social solidarity. He reiterated the commitment to orphan care, inspired by the Prophet Muhammad's teachings.
Hani Al-Hakim, Director of Human Resources at the Office of Social Affairs, stressed the importance of full care for orphans and enhancing programs for vulnerable groups, aligned with the principles of mercy and community support central to the divine message.
