Sanaa: The Acting Prime Minister, Judge Muhammad Miftah, sent a cable of congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, on the occasion of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, marking 22 May.

According to Yemen News Agency, in his cable, the Acting Prime Minister conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, as well as to the Speakers of the Parliament and Shura Council, the Supreme Judicial Council, members of the four councils, and the fighters stationed across various frontlines, along with the Yemeni people, on the anniversary of the blessed reunification of Yemen.

He emphasized that the unity of the nation and the consolidation of its energies is not only a national necessity but also a religious duty commanded by Allah Almighty, citing the verse: 'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.' He noted that unity brings strength and resilience, while division leads to ruin, the loss of nations and their resources.

He stated: 'This occasion comes while our beloved country and people are facing the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade for the eleventh year, as well as ongoing US-Zionist aggression. Parts of the country remain under Saudi-Emirati occupation, which has spread corruption there, and which today seeks to advance its schemes to continue plundering Yemen's resources, in shameful and degrading collusion with its agents and mercenaries.'

The Acting Prime Minister pointed out that past mistakes in the experience of unity should not be used as a pretext to undermine or incite against this great achievement, stressing that unity has proven to be a source of good, stability, and peace.

He underscored the historical responsibility placed upon the people of greater Yemen to preserve their unity, strengthen their ranks, and unify their efforts to expel the Saudi-Emirati occupation and end its presence, which he said defiles the pure land of Yemen.
