Aden: Aden governor Tariq Salam affirmed that the spirit of the October 14 Revolution remains alive in the hearts of the free, rejecting guardianship and subordination while upholding the republic and unity. Salam praised the immense sacrifices made by the revolutionaries in the south to liberate the land from British colonialism.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor explained that the southern and eastern provinces are currently suffering under a new occupation that seeks to fragment Yemen and erase its national identity. He emphasized that the blood of martyrs and sacrifices of the freedom fighters will continue to inspire the people in completing the path toward full liberation.
Governor Salam renewed his pledge to move forward-alongside the honorable people of Aden-in the national struggle to regain occupied Yemeni territories and end all forms of occupation and foreign interference. He stressed that Yemen's unity and sovereignty will remain the highest objective, for which all sacrifices are worthwhile.
