Al-Bayda: The Afaar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate has successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle a substantial quantity of electronic hookahs and related accessories, amounting to a total of 2,629 units.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Center's Director, Fahd Haza'a, reported that the illicit items were discovered inside a concealed compartment in the trailer of a truck. This truck was traveling from the occupied city of Aden and was en route to the capital, Sana'a.
Director Haza'a commended the customs officers for their diligence and ability to detect the smuggled goods. He emphasized that the center is committed to fulfilling its national responsibilities and preventing the illegal transportation of goods.
