Sana'a: Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai held a pivotal meeting in the capital with the team tasked with developing principles, standards, and controls for formulating general policies on water resources management and development.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister stressed the significance of involving experts, elites, and academics in crafting and refining the policies for integrated water resources management. This initiative is part of the Ministry's broader efforts to execute a policy correction program, aligning with directives from the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council. These directives focus on maximizing rainwater harvesting and safeguarding essential resources from the dangers of water depletion and pollution.
Dr. al-Rubai emphasized the need for increased efforts in implementing the Ministry's programs and directives aimed at policy correction and improving water resources management and development. He highlighted the importance of adhering to divine instructions and the caution required to prevent the wastage of water, which is seen as a vital resource and wealth for the nation.
