Sanaa: A number of officers from the Air and Air Defense Forces carried out a visit on Saturday to the tombs of the martyrs: President Saleh Al-Sammad, Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi and his ministerial colleagues, and Lieutenant General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, as part of the activities marking the annual Martyrs' Day 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was attended by the Assistant Commander of the Air and Air Defense Forces for Moral Guidance, Brigadier General Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din; the Director of the Air Force Commander's Office, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Juhari; the Director of Operations, Brigadier Pilot Abdulkarim Al-Sa'ir; and the Director of Supply and Logistics, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, along with a number of department heads and officers.
The visitors recited Al-Fatiha for the souls of the fallen leaders and all national martyrs who sacrificed their lives defending the nation's sovereignty. They also visited the Armed Forces Martyrs Exhibitions held at Al-Sabeen Square, as well as the Martyrs' Gardens in Al-Hashhoush and Al-Rawda in the capital.
The officers praised the significant role played by the righteous martyrs in the path of God and the homeland, confronting forces of evil and tyranny across various fronts of dignity and honor, culminating their journey in martyrdom.
They affirmed that the martyrs' sacrifices contributed to achieving victory over aggressors, their tools, and helped consolidate the foundations of security and stability.
