Marib: Al-Abadiyah Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society was officially launched in the Marib governorate, marking a significant step in supporting local agriculture. The society's bylaws were approved, and its leadership team was elected during the launch event.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulqader Nasser al-Thabiti was elected as the president of the society, with Alawi Mohammed Hadaj taking on the role of secretary-general and Salem Abdulrab Al-Dhami appointed as treasurer. An oversight committee was also formed to ensure effective governance and accountability.
Speakers at the event emphasized the society's importance in supporting farmers, organizing agricultural efforts, and driving development to enhance self-sufficiency and food security. They highlighted the initiative's goal to strengthen local production, reduce dependency on imports, and benefit the community in both agricultural and service sectors.
