Tehran: The Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein al-Aidaroos, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, on the occasion of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei gaining the confidence of the Assembly of Experts and being chosen as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the telegram, the Speaker of the Shura Council, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Presidium, members, and General Secretariat, expressed his warmest congratulations to the Speaker and members of the Iranian Consultative Assembly and to the Muslim people of Iran on this historic choice, which embodies unity and the continuity of the revolutionary path.
