Al-Aqsa Flood Triumphs in Late Dahan Feliteh Volleyball Championship in Hajjah

Hajjah: Al-Aqsa Flood team claimed victory in the late Dahan Feliteh Volleyball Championship held in Hajjah province, marking the 13th anniversary of Dahan Feliteh’s passing.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Aqsa Flood emerged victorious in the championship, which was organized by the Hajjah Federation branch under the supervision of the Province’s Youth and Sports Office, with support from al-Nasr Sports Club. The team defeated al-Ahli in the final match with a score of three sets to one.

Murad Shali, Director of the Province’s Youth and Sports Office, highlighted the significance of these championships in promoting volleyball within the province. He regarded the event as a fitting tribute to Dahan Feliteh’s contributions to the local sports sector.

Mohammed Yahya Salba, Chairman of al-Nasr Sports Club, reiterated the club’s dedication to supporting such championships. He views these events as vital opportunities for the development of the sport and for identifying talented players.

Abdullah Shumaila, Chairman of the Hajjah Federation branch, along with Alaa Feliteh, the son of the late Dahan Feliteh, expressed their appreciation for the collective efforts that contributed to the success of the championship. Following the match, both the champion and the runner-up teams were honored.
