Sanaa: The Committee for the Support of al-Aqsa has issued a call to the Yemeni population to participate in absentee prayers in mosques throughout the nation for the souls of the martyred leaders of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. The prayers are scheduled to occur tomorrow, following the Friday prayers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement, known as Hamas, had earlier appealed to Palestinians and the broader Arab and Islamic communities to hold similar absentee prayers. These prayers will commemorate the lives of the al-Qassam Brigades' leaders: Muhammad Sinwar, Muhammad Shabana, Hakam al-Issa, Raed Saad, and Hudhaifa al-Kahlout.
