According to Yemen News Agency, on January 1, 2016, airstrikes in Khairan Al-Muharraq District in Hajjah Governorate claimed the lives of 15 citizens and injured several others. In Al-Hodeida Governorate, strikes on industrial facilities resulted in further casualties and damage. Similar attacks were reported in Ibb, Sana'a, and other governorates, where airstrikes targeted educational institutions and residential areas, causing injuries and destruction. The following year, 2017, saw continued aggression with airstrikes in Marib and Taiz governorates, leading to the deaths and injuries of more civilians. The Saudi army's artillery shelling in variou s districts of Saada Governorate further exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, damaging homes and agricultural lands. In 2018, airstrikes in Al-Hodeida Governorate resulted in 20 civilian deaths and several injuries, marking one of the deadliest incidents of the aggression. The attacks also targeted key infrastructure and residential areas in Hajjah, Marib, and Saada governorates, causing severe damage to properties and displacement of residents. By 2019, the aggression's airstrikes and artillery shelling continued to ravage Yemeni territories, with notable incidents in Taiz and Saada governorates leading to civilian casualties and infrastructural damage. Al-'Aqlah Bridge in Amran Governorate was destroyed, severing vital connections between districts. In the subsequent years, the pattern of aggression persisted, with airstrikes and shelling causing further loss of life and destruction. In 2020, Hodeida Governorate witnessed continued shelling by mercenaries, damaging homes and farms. The aggression's aircr aft targeted multiple districts, spreading fear and devastation. By 2021, the attacks showed no signs of abating, as airstrikes and artillery fire continued to claim lives and disrupt communities across Yemen. Civilian gatherings, such as a wedding hall in Hodeida city, were not spared from the violence, resulting in tragic losses. On January 1, 2022, the aggression's attacks persisted, with airstrikes in Al-Bayda and Shabwah governorates. The relentless shelling and air raids have left a trail of destruction and suffering, underscoring the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
