Festive Celebrations Across Hajjah Governorate Mark Prophet’s Birthday

Al-shahil: Festive events and evening gatherings marking the 1448 AH anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birthday continued in the districts of Al-Shahil, Al-Mahabasha, Qafl Shamer, and Al-Miftah in Hajjah Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, in Al-Shahil, the local health, environment, public works, water, and electricity offices, along with the rural hospital, held a commemorative event attended by District Director Ahmed Al-Banous and officials from the organizing bodies. Residents of Bani Badr and Al-Fasih village also organized two evening gatherings.

In Al-Miftah, the Security Department and Qafl Shamer Rural Hospital held separate events to mark the Prophet's birth. Al-Mahabasha hosted five cultural evenings organized by local residents and branches of the agriculture, water, and tourism offices.

Speakers at these events emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday among Yemenis, highlighting it as a reflection of their deep connection to the Prophet, considered a beacon of truth and guidance. They urged people to reflect on the Prophet's life and noble character to derive lessons in responsibility, integrity, and steadfastness in daily life.

The events also reviewed aspects of the Prophet's biography and character, stressing the occasion's significance to Yemenis. They called for broad participation in the central celebrations marking the Prophet's birthday on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
