Al Hodeidah Gears Up for Prophet’s Birthday Central Event

Sana'a: The Central Mobilization and Rallying Committee for the Prophet's Birthday celebrations in Al Hodeidah Province reviewed on Thursday preparations and arrangements for the province's central event, scheduled for Rabi' al-Awwal 12.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Al Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atefi, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri, and members of the central and subcommittees. The discussions focused on the readiness of the celebration venues and arrangements for receiving participants.

The committee evaluated preparations at Al-Sammad Martyr Square in Al Hodeidah City and Al-Rasoul Al-Azam Square in Al-Husayniyah. These locations are designated for residents of the city, the eastern, northern, and southern districts. The meeting also addressed ongoing preparations at these venues and surrounding areas, including organizational and technical arrangements, securing entrances, and organizing participant routes to accommodate the expected large crowds.

Mobilization efforts across the districts were reviewed, highlighting the ongoing series of preparatory activities aimed at increasing participation in the central event. The meeting also covered field and service arrangements, such as water provision, first aid, and support services, ensuring smooth access and movement at the celebration venues.

Coordination between the central and subcommittees and relevant authorities was a key focus, with discussions on field follow-up mechanisms and task distribution to ensure timely completion of preparations. The participants emphasized the importance of continued mobilization efforts, completing preparations, and equipping the venues to meet anticipated participation levels.

The need to complete all field arrangements during the remaining period was underscored, with a call for strengthened coordination and follow-up among the various committees and concerned authorities. The goal is to ensure the readiness of both venues and present the event in a manner befitting the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday.
