Sana'a: Al-Maghawirah team was crowned champions of the Mawlid al-Nabawi football tournament in Al-Shaghadirah District, Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Maghawirah's victory came in the tournament organized by the Youth and Sports branch in the district, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, with the participation of eight teams. They won the final on penalties against Al-Tadamun after the regular time ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Director of the Youth and Sports branch in the district, Uday Al-Jabarti, appreciated the attention and support of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate for such tournaments, praising the level of play and the competition among the participating teams.
