Sana'a:A meeting chaired by Mayor Hamoud Abbad took place on Sunday to discuss preparations for the third edition of the Yemen Harvest Festival.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on organizing the festival with a new vision, emphasizing the involvement of cooperative associations and productive families. The festival will showcase a diverse range of agricultural products.
Participants approved practical steps for the festival, which will feature produce such as pomegranates, apples, grapes, and dates. Discussions also covered agricultural projects, sector challenges, and plans for a permanent exhibition for productive families at Al-Thawra Park.
Mayor Abbad highlighted the significance of the festival in promoting Yemeni agricultural products. He emphasized its role in creating new marketing opportunities for farmers and producers, and supporting the national economy and self-sufficiency.
